We are uniquely prepared to help you recover from your condition. Gary DeSmith, PT has spent 40 years in practice honing his craft and is ready to leverage his skills to help you get back to normal naturally. Careful and comprehensive assessment yields effective and appropriately targeted treatment. Subtle examination findings matter, sometimes a lot, and experience pays. Gary studied Exercise Physiology in graduate school and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA).

You deserve one-to-one attention when you come for treatment. Only in this way can we effectively help you with your new therapy activities, monitor your performance, and upgrade your treatment. Most physicians with their own PT clinics and those with hospital affiliations insist that their patients attend PT at the facility they own or that’s owned by their hospital. This can and does create a backlog of patients and often a treatment mill. At Allegiant, you will enjoy a less hectic and much more personal setting with constant access to your PT provider. In this way, you can take command of your problem and comfortably be part of your treatment team.

We consider your PT appointment to be a high priority. That said, we recognize it’s not the only item on your to-do list so flexibility in scheduling is important. Allegiant Physical Therapy of Durham offers both early-morning and late-afternoon appointments. So we can offer you both before and after work/school options. Immediate access is also important. Your treatment is Priority One so we make the schedule work.

Insurance
When you need PT, dealing with insurance reimbursement can be confusing or even intimidating, but this should never be a barrier to receiving the care you need. We have years of experience working within your insurance plan and will easily guide you through the benefit claim process from start to finish. Allegiant Physical Therapy is an in-network approved provider for all local insurance plans including the UNH student plan, UNH staff plan, and many others.
